enables governments and business to deliver on human development goals through the arts
OURVISION is of a world where arts and culture are habitually and by default utilised in Government-led and corporate initiatives to build healthy, happy and prosperous communities, regardless of whether those initiatives are political, economic or social.
THE MISSION of the Global Arts Impact Agenda is to enable governments and business to deliver on human development goals through the arts.
We use the UN’s newly-revised Sustainable Development Goals as a framework for creating programmes for and with Governments and business, supported by policy development/advocacy work and a global 'best practice' index on how well governments support arts, culture and creativity. We map current practice, analyse winning strategies and publish to advocate and replicate. Where there are gaps in practice, we initiate projects. We impact on real-world problems with tested solutions developed with experts.
THE GOAL is the prioritisation of culture as a key tool for human development by at least 10 developing national governments through partnership with global businesses by 2025.
